Class Descriptions:
Babes – Our babes class is for students between the ages of 1 and 2. This is a partner and me class that allows duos to play through obstacle courses, dance, jump, and meet new friends! This class helps strengthen the child’s abilities in balance, coordination, and sharing. A guardian is required to accompany the child on the floor at all times.
Tots – Our toddler class is for students between the ages of 3 and 4 years old. This is an instructor-led experience meant to take our Babes class to the next level. Students may or may not need a guardian on the floor, depending on their independence level, but supervision within the building is required. Little ones will learn basic gymnastics skills while navigating fun circuits and gaining autonomy in a safe and growth-focused environment.
Babes & Tots Party Class – This jumbo class offers stations for both babies and toddlers! In this class, little ones and their participating guardians will be offered exploration and open play time on our gym floor, as well as stations for basic gymnastics skills and tumbling. This class is ideal for parents with multiple children of different ages who wish to enjoy our gym together under the guidance of several coaches at once!
Junior – Our junior level class is for students between the ages of 4 and 5 years. Classes allow children to independently learn gymnastics basics under the guidance of an experienced coach. Classes will involve floor, beam, bar, vault, and tumble track, with the goal of advancing skills towards the Beginner/Intermediate class level. Coaches will also offer games and assessments of skills throughout the session.
Beginner – Our beginner level class is recommended for students with no or only some gymnastics experience between the ages of 6 and 18. Beginning with core development, this class rotates weekly through the events of Vault, Bars, Beam, Floor and Rebounding on our tumble track. Strengthening handstands, pullovers, high beam walks, leaps, and turns, the class works to improve young athletes’ foundation with regular assessments.
Intermediate – Our intermediate level class is recommended for students with 1-2 years of gymnastics experience between the ages of 7 and 18. Advancing on the beginning skills, these athletes will have demonstrated strong core skills and can reliably perform a pull over, handstand on each leg, cartwheels each side and jump series. The class will seek to improve confidence on high beam and high bar towards the advanced level. Please ask to have a skill assessment before enrolling.
Advanced – Our 90-minute advanced level girls class is recommended for students with 3+ years of gymnastics experience. In this class, gymnasts will work on higher-level skills on vault, bars, beam, floor, and tumble track. With careful spotting and professional guidance, our students will hone techniques they already have while learning moves done by competition and Olympic athletes. Our Advanced classes are for experienced gymnasts only and require an assessment before enrolling.
GymNinja – Gymninja is an action packed program similar to gymnastics that develops a diverse set of skills for both body and mind. We focus on coordination, speed, strength, safety, confidence, and discipline. This fusion of gymnastics, parkour, ninja warrior, and martial art is taught with circuits/obstacle courses as well as games, for a fun, focused, fast-paced learning environment. It’s well-suited to shorter attention spans and high-energy kids. Junior level is 45 minutes for ages 4-6 years, all other levels are 60 minutes for ages 7-18 years.
Tumbling & Dance – Little ones can gain flexibility, creativity, grace, and poise with this class. Students’ time will be split between learning gymnastics tumbling and practicing fun, short dance routines. Meant to help with fitness while remaining entertaining, this is a great class for kids who want to get in shape and be active. Best suited for children aged 5-8 years old.
Tumbling & Conditioning – Meant for slightly older children, This 7+ class will help kids learn handstands, walkovers, cartwheels, flips, and more high-intensity tumbling techniques. Supported by full-body conditioning workouts, this is a great class for kids who want to learn how to tumble, get in shape, and strengthen their core. For those looking to advance to higher levels, this can be a helpful developmental opportunity.
Developmental Play – This unique class will be led by our trained child development coach, who has a Master’s Degree in Special Education. The purpose is to create an environment that’s welcoming and nurturing for children who need extra support. Guardians will accompany their children on the floor to work on basic motor skills, socialization, autonomy, and (most importantly) play! Music will be kept at low levels, and activities will focus on simple, no-fail tasks. Please let us know if your child has any specific needs so we can accommodate them.
